Aaron Norberg

Buckman is an exploration of internal and external transformation, a visual document of acclimation to my adopted city of Portland, Oregon. Setting out to reconcile myself with unfamiliar surroundings, I gridded the neighborhood out and walked each block. Through the formation of this project I retrained myself to see beyond my primary medium of landscape subject matter, gained an intimate familiarity with the character of my new surroundings and recorded a glimpse of the profound growth Portland has endured and continues to experience.
